Women Battling at the Boat from 2005 and 2009

Molly McConnell faced Janae Archuleta in October of 2005 and claimed the knockout win at 55 seconds of the third round.

McConnell finished her career wit 12 wins and only 2 losses. She fought for the GBU Super Lightweight Title in 2011. She currently is training fighters and running a gym in Portland.

Archuleta ended her career with a record of 5 wins and 14 losses. She faced Mia St John 4 times in the ring.

Sarah Pucek out of Canada fought Washingtonian Tammie Johnson twice in 2009. These two women put on classic displays of boxing skill. Their first encounter ended in a majority draw, Pucek would take the win in the rematch by split decision.

Pucek finished her career with 8 wins, 3 losses and the one draw. On the way to those 8 wins she claimed and defended the Canada Female Featherweight title and the NABF Featherweight Title.

Johnson ended her career with 4 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws. She twice faced Molly McConnell.

Miesha "Cupcake" Tate stepped in to the ring for an interview with ring announcer Shanon Klink to talk about her big win in October, and to plug an upcoming bout in January. Tate is still active and will take on Ketlen Viera on November 20th in Las Vegas.

And of course the ring card girls. When one is a teacher odds are pretty good that at some point he will run in to a former student someplace unexpected. But holding ring cards at a boxing event? Yep, I was surprised.
